Research 1 (Semester 1)
Phase 1: Title Hearing
Students propose three (3) research titles.
Submission of Title Hearing Form, Title Justification, Adviser/Statistician Form.
Phase 2: Research Proposal Defense
Submission of Chapters 1–3, Title Approval Form, Research Instruments, Gantt Chart, Tech-Based QA certificate, adviser/statistician endorsements.
Proposal defense with panel evaluation.
Phase 3: Routing of Revised Proposal
Revision using past tense methodology.
Routing to panel members for approval.
Accomplish Final Proposal Approval Form.
Secure Certificate of Research Ethics Compliance.
Research 2 (Semester 2)
Phase 1: Research Proper (Data Collection / Development)
Obtain Permit to Conduct Study with Final Proposal Approval, Validated Instrument, and Informed Consent.
Conduct data gathering, surveys, experiments, or system development.
Phase 2: Final Oral Defense
Submission of updated manuscript to Research Management System.
Gantt Chart, Adviser/Statistician endorsement, minutes of proposal, and PPT (optional).
Phase 3: Submission of Final Manuscript
Revision based on panel recommendations.
Submission of Final Revision Approval Form, Tech-Based QA, Certificates, Evaluation of Adviser.
Hardbound copies (3) to Dean, Adviser, and Library.
Online publication, registrar submission, and research presentation to stakeholders.
