SALIKSIKAN 2026: Strengthening Research Competence Among Michaelinians

This is to inform all college students that SALIKSIKAN 2026: Strengthening Research Competence Among Michaelinians will be conducted on July 22, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the Gatella Hall , beside Saint Michael Parish. The activity aims to strengthen the research competence of Michaelinians through engaging discussions and learning sessions on research.

The seminar is open to all interested Michaelinians.

The ESG-CD Officers and students who have successfully registered for the seminar shall be officially excused from their respective classes during the duration of the activity. Furthermore, registered participants who are present throughout the seminar shall be granted perfect scores in all oral recitations, in-class activities, and quizzes administered on the day of the activity, subject to the approval and implementation of their respective course instructors.

All registered participants are expected to attend the entire duration of the seminar and actively participate in all sessions.

The official list of registered participants is attached to this memorandum for reference and verification by the concerned faculty members.

Research Journal Orientation S.Y. 2025-2026

The Research and Instructional Innovation Department (RIID) of Saint Michael College of Caraga formally announces the conduct of the Research Journal Orientation for all Fourth Year Research Leaders.

This orientation session aims to guide graduating students in preparing their research manuscripts for journal publication. The discussion will focus on essential scholarly standards, including research formatting, manuscript structure, ethical considerations, and submission procedures, in accordance with the institution’s research quality guidelines.

The activity is designed to strengthen the research writing competencies of students and to support their preparation for scholarly publication and academic dissemination.

Attendance of all Fourth Year Research Leaders is required.

Temporary Suspension of the Research Process for SHS Students SY: 2025-2026

Temporary Adjustment to the SHS Research Process

Saint Michael College of Caraga announces a temporary adjustment to the research process for Senior High School students to ensure the timely completion of their academic requirements.

Effective immediately, the Research Process outlined in Gantt 2 for the Senior High School Department is temporarily suspended. Despite this adjustment, Grade 12 students are still required to complete their research manuscripts, particularly Chapters 4 and 5, and proceed with the Final Defense as part of their graduation requirements.

The Final Defense will be conducted from March 11 to March 14, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM at the Accreditation Room. Research Advisers are expected to be present during the defense sessions to provide guidance and support to the students.

The SHS Research Coordinator will prepare and communicate the specific defense schedule for each research group to ensure an organized implementation.

Furthermore, the Senior High School Principal will submit an Action Plan to further strengthen the implementation of the research process in the upcoming academic year.

All concerned offices, advisers, and students are requested to take note of this announcement and extend their full cooperation.
